Lemon Bars!





  • 1/2 cup of melted butter

  • 1/4 cup of sugar

  • 3/4 tsp of vanilla 

  • 1 cup of flour 



  • 1 1/2 cup of sugar

  • 1/2 cup of flour 

  • 3 eggs at room temperature 

  • 1/2 cup of lemon juice ( about 2 lemons)

  • 1/2 tbsp of lemon zest

  • Powered sugar (to sprinkle on)




  • To make the crust mix together the butter, sugar, vanilla, and flour together until everything is incorporated.

  • Press the crust on an 8X8 plan sprayed with baking spray

  • Bake for 10-12 minutes at 350, or until the edges are light brown

  • To make the filling mix together the sugar and flour in a bowl. Mix until all the lumps are out

  • Add the eggs, lemon juice, and lemon zest and whisk till runny

  • Once you take out the crust let it sit until its warm, then pour the lemon filling over it. 

  • Bake for 25-30 min at 350

  • Take out of the oven and let them sit for about 10-15 minutes then you can dust powdered sugar over the lemon squares 

  • Enjoy these tart and delicious treats!!
