Red Velvet Cookies

Ingredients: 

 

  • 1/2 cup of softened butter

  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar

  • 3/8 cup of white sugar

  • 1 egg

  • 1tsp of vanilla extract

  • 1tsp of red food coloring 

  • 2 1/8 cups of flour 

  • 1/8 cup of cocoa powder

  • 1+1/2 tsp baking powder 

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • 1/2 tsp of salt

  • 2 cups of white chocolate chips

 

 

 

 

 

 

Steps:

 

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees f

  • Mix together butter and both sugars till creamy 

  • Add in egg, vanilla, and food coloring and beat again  

  • Add in flour, baking powder, baking soda, cocoa powder & salt until a cookie dough is formed

  • Add in white chocolate chips until they are all distributed throughout the dough 

  • Weigh your cookies out into eight balls (about 100g each) 

  • If you don’t want them that big you can make smaller ones :)

  • Let the balls sit in the freezer for 30 minutes

  • Put in oven for 12-14 minutes

  • Let cool for about 30 minutes before serving 

  • Also, if you made double the amount, cook for about 9 minutes
